We
would like for each of our students to have a notebook and pen or
pencil.
We encourage each class
participant to take notes, draw pictures,
whatever will facilitate their learning.
Even though we provide
a complete and detailed written description of all we teach to each
student, taking notes augments learning.
Optional:
We also suggest
that
each student bring 6 yards of muslin for use
on the second day of quilting.
This will give each
participant use
on the second day of quilting.
This will give each
participant samples
for reference that can be taken home.
Please
note:
We
do provide a charity quilt for learning if it is not convenient to bring
muslin.
However, the charity quilt
cannot be taken home.
Many
students choose to bring a "significant other" to the
maintenance class.
Some occasionally video tape or photograph the key points of the
class.
